Tools

  • Close Session

Close an active session in the Exceptionless project bound to the connected client API key. This records irreversible session-closure telemetry and returns only an acceptance confirmation.

  • Get Client Configuration

Return the configuration for the single Exceptionless project bound to the connected client API key. Configuration values can contain sensitive project settings; request and expose them only when needed.

  • Submit Event

Submit one structured telemetry event to the Exceptionless project bound to the connected client API key. Acceptance is asynchronous and does not confirm that the event was processed or persisted.

  • Submit Session Heartbeat

Record an active session heartbeat in the Exceptionless project bound to the connected client API key. Use Close Session separately when the session ends. Despite using GET upstream, this tool writes telemetry.

Setup

  1. Create or open a Switchy Project.
  2. Open Integrations and connect Exceptionless.
  3. Authorise through api_key. Switchy stores the connection against your org.
  4. Everyone in the Project can now @-mention the Exceptionless tools in chat.

What teammates see: by default, memories from Exceptionless are scoped to the Project (PROJECT visibility) - you can mark any memory PRIVATE or share it ORG-wide.
