Renderform

RenderForm is a user-friendly automation and design tool that enables the creation of templates and images with custom content such as images, texts, and QR codes.

Verdict

Renderform generates images and PDFs from templates through API calls — useful when your team needs to produce social cards, certificates, or reports without manual design work. In Switchy, @mention Renderform to create visuals on the fly during a conversation: pass in text, data, or URLs and get back a rendered asset. Best for teams that ship content at scale (marketing, product, support) and want to skip the back-and-forth with design tools. Requires an API key from your Renderform account; you'll need to set up templates in their dashboard before invoking them here.

Common use cases

  • Generate social media cards from blog posts
  • Create event badges for webinar attendees
  • Produce branded reports with live data
  • Build personalized email headers at scale
  • Render certificates after course completion

Setup

Setup guide

  1. 11. Open your Switchy workspace settings and navigate to the Integrations tab. 2. Search for Renderform and click Connect. 3. Log into your Renderform account (or sign up at renderform.io) and generate an API key from the account settings page. 4. Paste the API key into Switchy's connection form and click Authorize. 5. Switchy will verify the key and confirm the connection is active. 6. Inside any Space, type '@Renderform' to invoke the integration — you'll reference template IDs from your Renderform dashboard when you ask it to generate an image or PDF. 7. Test the connection by asking Renderform to render a simple template with sample data; if you see a URL or file returned, you're ready to go.

What teammates see: by default, memories from Renderform are scoped to the Space (PROJECT visibility) - you can mark any memory PRIVATE or share it ORG-wide.
