Tools

  • Create Draft Post

Create a non-public draft post on an authorized site. This tool never publishes content; use the returned post ID for review, update, and cleanup.

  • Delete Draft Post
    destructive

Permanently delete an existing draft post after verifying it is still a draft. The tool refuses to delete published, scheduled, pending, or private posts.

  • Get Post

Get one post by ID in editable context, including raw content and its current status.

  • Get Site Overview

Get concise identity, plan, capabilities, editable settings, and traffic summary for one authorized site. Settings or stats that are unavailable by capability are reported as unavailable without hiding valid site details.

  • List Blogging Prompts

List WordPress.com writing prompts for a site, optionally filtered by date or text, with agent-controlled pagination.

  • List CMS Resources

List categories, tags, comments, media, or users for an authorized site through one consistent paginated read tool.

  • List Content

List and search editable posts or pages on an authorized site, including drafts, with compact raw and rendered content fields and agent-controlled pagination.

  • List Reader Subscriptions

List feeds and sites followed by the connected WordPress.com account without changing subscriptions.

  • List Sites

List every WordPress.com or Jetpack-connected site authorized by the global OAuth account, returning stable numeric site IDs and concise capability and plan summaries for use with other tools.

  • Update Draft Post

Update title, body, excerpt, taxonomy, featured media, or comment policy for an existing draft. Provide at least one field to update. The tool refuses to modify a post whose current status is not draft.

Setup

  1. Create or open a Switchy Project.
  2. Open Integrations and connect WordPress.com.
  3. Authorise through oauth2. Switchy stores the connection against your org.
  4. Everyone in the Project can now @-mention the WordPress.com tools in chat.

What teammates see: by default, memories from WordPress.com are scoped to the Project (PROJECT visibility) - you can mark any memory PRIVATE or share it ORG-wide.
