Setup
Setup guide
- 11. Inside any Switchy Project, click the **+** icon in the message bar and choose **Connect an MCP**. 2. Search for **FuseAI MCP** and click **Connect**. 3. You'll be redirected to FuseAI's OAuth consent screen — sign in with your FuseAI workspace account. 4. Grant the requested scopes: read/write access to campaigns, contacts, inbox, analytics, and automations (FuseAI needs these to execute tools on your behalf). 5. After authorizing, you'll land back in Switchy with a green **Connected** badge next to FuseAI MCP. 6. Test the connection by typing **@FuseAI list my active campaigns** in the Project chat — you should see a summary of running outreach sequences within seconds. 7. To invoke any tool, start your message with **@FuseAI** followed by your request (e.g. 'draft a 5-step email sequence for enterprise SaaS prospects'). The MCP will confirm which tool it's calling and return structured results or drafts you can refine inline.
What teammates see: by default, memories from FuseAI MCP are scoped to the Project (PROJECT visibility) - you can mark any memory PRIVATE or share it ORG-wide.

Starter prompts
Draft Outbound Sequence
@FuseAI create a 5-step email sequence targeting VP Sales at mid-market SaaS companies. Theme: helping them hit Q1 pipeline goals with better outbound tooling. Keep tone consultative, not pushy.
Check Campaign Performance
@FuseAI show me performance metrics for all active campaigns in the last 7 days — reply rate, meeting booked rate, and any notable trends.
Research Account History
@FuseAI what do we know about Acme Corp and their VP of Sales, Jane Doe? Pull any emails, calls, or LinkedIn messages from the last 6 months.
Set Up Signal Monitor
@FuseAI create a signal monitor that alerts me weekly when Series A SaaS companies post SDR or BDR job openings on LinkedIn.
Triage Inbox and Draft Replies
@FuseAI review my unread inbox from the last 24 hours, flag anything urgent, and draft replies for the top 3 threads that need a response.
Example outputs
Illustrative - representative of the model's voice and quality, not literal recordings.
@FuseAI show me our email campaign performance this month and flag any sequences with below 15% open rates
Across 8 active campaigns this month, your team sent 4,230 emails with an average 22% open rate (+3% vs. last month) and 4.1% reply rate (-0.8%). Two sequences fall below the 15% threshold: 'Enterprise Outreach Q1' (12.4% open, 47 sends) and 'Cold Intro - Finance VPs' (13.9% open, 203 sends). Both launched in the past 10 days, so sample size is still building. Top performer: 'Warm Referral Follow-up' at 41% open, 9% reply across 112 sends.
This example highlights FuseAI's analytics tool reading campaign metrics with trend deltas. The MCP surfaces performance data your team has already generated — it won't create campaigns or send emails on its own. Useful for spotting underperformers early, but remember open rates stabilize after ~100 sends.
@FuseAI create an automation that watches for Series A funding announcements in fintech, then drafts a congratulations email and adds the founder to our 'Warm Intro' campaign
Automation 'Fintech Series A Watcher' created and activated. It monitors news/funding signals for fintech companies raising Series A rounds, then triggers a three-step workflow: (1) AI drafts a personalized congratulations email referencing the announcement and your product's ROI for scaling teams, (2) saves the draft to your Inbox for review, (3) once you approve and send, auto-enrolls the founder into the 'Warm Intro' sequence starting at step 2 (the follow-up). You'll receive a Slack digest daily if new matches are found.
This showcases FuseAI's automations tool chaining signal monitoring, AI drafting, and campaign enrollment. The MCP creates the rule but doesn't send emails without your approval — drafts land in Inbox for human review. Requires OAuth scope for campaign write access and Slack webhook configuration in your FuseAI account.
@FuseAI what do we know about Acme Corp's buying committee and when did we last reach out to their VP of Sales?
Acme Corp has been engaged since March 2024. Your team has exchanged 14 emails and held 2 calls with three contacts: Jamie Chen (VP Sales, last email from you 8 days ago re: Q2 pricing), Alex Ruiz (Director Revenue Ops, LinkedIn message from Sarah 3 weeks ago, no reply), and Morgan Lee (CFO, met twice in April, went quiet after budget freeze mention). Fuse Brain notes Jamie expressed interest in your analytics module but wanted to loop in Morgan before moving forward. No recent activity with Morgan since April 18.
This uses the 'Ask fuse brain' tool, which queries relationship intelligence built from your team's real communication history (emails, LinkedIn, calls). It only knows about contacts you've already engaged — it won't research net-new prospects. Best for avoiding duplicate outreach and surfacing context before a follow-up. Requires OAuth read access to your Inbox and call logs.
Use-case deep-dives
Analytics consolidates rep activity without BI overhead
A VP of Sales running a 12-rep team spends 90 minutes every Monday pulling email open rates from Outreach, call volume from Aircall, and LinkedIn reply rates from a spreadsheet. FuseAI's Analytics tool surfaces all three in one read-only dashboard: campaign metrics with week-over-week deltas, dialer call counts, and prospecting volumes by rep. The VP opens Switchy, asks for top/bottom performers by reply rate, and gets a ranked list in 8 seconds. This replaces the manual export-merge-pivot ritual but won't replace a full BI stack if you need cohort analysis or forecast modeling. The threshold: if your sales ops team already maintains Tableau dashboards with 15+ metrics, FuseAI is redundant. If you're a first sales leader without a data analyst, this MCP gives you enough visibility to coach reps and spot campaign drift without hiring for it.
Frequently asked
What does the FuseAI MCP actually do in Switchy?
It connects your FuseAI workspace so AI agents can run outreach campaigns, pull relationship intelligence from Fuse Brain, start deep research jobs, manage your inbox, and create signal monitors for hiring or funding triggers. Think of it as letting AI operate your entire sales stack — from prospecting to follow-up — without switching tabs.
Do I need admin access to connect FuseAI via OAuth?
You need a FuseAI account with permissions to create campaigns, access inbox, and run automations. The OAuth flow will ask for read/write access to campaigns, contacts, analytics, and inbox. If your workspace restricts those features by role, the MCP won't be able to execute tools like campaign creation or deep research.
Can the MCP send emails or LinkedIn messages on my behalf?
Yes. The Campaigns and Inbox tools let AI draft, schedule, and send email or LinkedIn sequences, approve pending messages, and reply to threads. It uses your connected FuseAI sending accounts, so deliverability and rate limits follow your workspace settings. The AI can also generate follow-up drafts for you to review before sending.
How is this different from just using FuseAI's web app?
The MCP lets AI orchestrate multi-step workflows across FuseAI without you clicking through dashboards. For example, an agent can query Fuse Brain for engaged contacts, start a deep research job on competitors, then auto-enroll results into a campaign — all in one prompt. The web app requires manual handoffs between each step.
Who on the team should connect this integration?
Whoever owns outreach execution and has full FuseAI workspace access. Sales ops or a team lead is ideal, since the MCP can create automations, pause signal monitors, and modify campaigns. If multiple people connect it, each gets their own OAuth token scoped to their FuseAI permissions and inbox.
