Setup
Setup guide
- 1Open your Switchy workspace settings and navigate to Integrations, then click Add Integration and select SalesRobot. Log in to your SalesRobot dashboard, go to Settings or API, and generate a new API key with read and write permissions for campaigns, prospects, and inbox threads. Copy the key and paste it into the Switchy integration form, then click Connect. Switchy will verify the key by listing your connected LinkedIn accounts. To test, create a new Project in Switchy, type '@SalesRobot list my LinkedIn accounts', and confirm you see account names and UUIDs. Once verified, you can invoke any of the ten tools by @mentioning SalesRobot and describing the task in plain language.
What teammates see: by default, memories from SalesRobot are scoped to the Project (PROJECT visibility) - you can mark any memory PRIVATE or share it ORG-wide.

@SalesRobot list all prospects in my 'Q1 Enterprise Outreach' campaign who haven't replied yet
Found 47 prospects in the Q1 Enterprise Outreach campaign with no reply. The list includes 23 prospects at the 'Follow-up 2' sequence step, 18 at 'Initial Connection Request', and 6 at 'Follow-up 3'. Top unreplied prospects by profile strength: Sarah Chen (VP Engineering, TechCorp), Marcus Williams (CTO, DataFlow), and Jennifer Park (Head of Product, CloudScale). All are currently active in the sequence with the next scheduled touchpoint within 48 hours.
This read-heavy example shows how SalesRobot surfaces campaign state across sequence steps. Requires the campaign UUID (obtained via List Campaigns first) and a connected LinkedIn account with active campaign data. Prospect counts and sequence positions reflect the moment of query and change as the campaign executes.
@SalesRobot add the LinkedIn profile linkedin.com/in/alex-rivera-cto to my 'Product Launch Outreach' campaign
Successfully added Alex Rivera to the Product Launch Outreach campaign. The prospect will enter at sequence step 1 ('Initial Connection Request') and the first action is scheduled for tomorrow at 9:00 AM PST based on your campaign's send-time settings. Profile data synchronized: CTO at InnovateLabs, 2,400+ connections, San Francisco Bay Area. The campaign currently has 34 active prospects.
This write example demonstrates adding a prospect mid-campaign. SalesRobot will execute the full sequence from step 1 unless you manually adjust the starting step. Requires both the campaign UUID and a valid LinkedIn profile URL. Be aware this triggers real outreach actions on the connected LinkedIn account once the sequence begins.
@SalesRobot pull the last 5 LinkedIn posts from our top 3 unreplied prospects in the enterprise campaign, then draft personalized follow-up angles for each
Retrieved recent posts from Sarah Chen (3 posts on AI infrastructure challenges), Marcus Williams (4 posts on data governance frameworks), and Jennifer Park (5 posts on product-led growth metrics). Suggested follow-up angles: For Sarah, reference her thread on scaling ML pipelines and position our observability features. For Marcus, tie into his compliance automation post with our audit-trail capabilities. For Jennifer, connect her PLG metrics discussion to our self-serve onboarding analytics. Each angle bridges their public thinking to your product's value proposition.
This synthesis example pairs SalesRobot's LinkedIn post retrieval with AI reasoning to generate contextual outreach. Requires the Get LinkedIn Profile and List LinkedIn Posts tools plus prospect identification from List Campaign Prospects. Post availability depends on each prospect's LinkedIn activity and privacy settings—some profiles may return fewer posts or none.
Use-case deep-dives
When SalesRobot wins for founder-to-SDR LinkedIn transitions
A 12-person SaaS startup hires its first SDR and needs to hand off 200 warm LinkedIn threads the founder started. The Get Prospect Sequence Status and List Inbox Threads tools let the SDR see exactly where each conversation stalled and which message cadence was running. Add Prospect to Campaign moves cold leads into the new hire's sequences without starting from scratch. This works cleanly if your LinkedIn account stays under SalesRobot's 100-connection-request-per-week safety limit and you're running fewer than 8 campaigns. Above that threshold, the List Campaigns filter gets slow and you'll want a dedicated sales-engagement platform with better segmentation. If you're still founder-led outbound with under 500 total prospects, SalesRobot keeps the workflow in one place without forcing a HubSpot migration.
When this MCP handles LinkedIn research for roadmap planning
A 6-person product team at a B2B fintech company monitors 40 competitor executives and 15 target accounts to spot feature launches and hiring signals. The Get LinkedIn Profile and List LinkedIn Posts tools pull recent activity into a weekly Switchy thread where the PM tags engineering on relevant shifts. This scenario works if your research list is under 100 profiles and you check it weekly, not daily—SalesRobot's LinkedIn scraping has a 48-hour cache, so real-time monitoring isn't the play. The List Campaign Prospects tool helps track which competitors you've already cataloged, but there's no webhook for new posts, so you're running manual refreshes. If your intel operation scales past 200 profiles or you need Slack alerts on competitor moves, you'll outgrow this and want a dedicated social-listening tool.
When SalesRobot fits post-sale LinkedIn engagement
A 20-person customer success team at a mid-market SaaS company runs quarterly check-ins with 300 customer champions on LinkedIn, separate from email. The Add Prospect to Campaign and Get Prospect Sequence Status tools let CSMs see which accounts opened the last message and which need a manual nudge. This works if your customer list lives in a CRM that exports to CSV—SalesRobot doesn't have a native Salesforce sync, so you're doing a weekly import. The List Inbox Threads tool surfaces reply threads for the CSM to handle in Switchy without jumping into LinkedIn's clunky inbox. The breaking point is around 1,000 customers or when you need multi-channel orchestration (email plus LinkedIn); at that scale, SalesRobot's campaign logic is too basic and you'll want Outreach or Salesloft.
Frequently asked
What does the SalesRobot MCP do in Switchy?
It connects your team's SalesRobot campaigns to AI workflows. You can add prospects to sequences, check message status, pull LinkedIn profiles, and read inbox threads without leaving Switchy. The MCP wraps SalesRobot's campaign automation so your AI agents can trigger outreach, monitor replies, and surface prospect data in real time.
Do I need a SalesRobot API key to connect this?
Yes. The MCP uses API key authentication, so you'll need to generate one in your SalesRobot account settings. Whoever connects it should have access to the LinkedIn accounts and campaigns your team wants to automate. SalesRobot doesn't use OAuth for this integration—just paste the API key into Switchy's connection flow.
Can the MCP send LinkedIn messages directly?
No. It adds prospects to existing SalesRobot campaigns, which then send messages according to the sequence you've configured in SalesRobot. The MCP can't compose or fire one-off messages. If you need ad-hoc LinkedIn messaging, you'll still do that in SalesRobot's interface or use their native inbox.
How is this different from using SalesRobot's dashboard?
The MCP lets AI agents act on campaign data without manual clicks. Instead of logging into SalesRobot to add a prospect or check reply status, your Switchy workflows can do it automatically when a trigger fires—like a new lead in your CRM or a Slack mention. You trade the visual dashboard for programmable, event-driven automation.
Which team member should connect the SalesRobot account?
Whoever owns your SalesRobot subscription and has access to the LinkedIn accounts you want to automate. The API key inherits that person's permissions, so if they can see a campaign or inbox thread in SalesRobot, the MCP can too. Sales ops or the team lead usually makes the most sense.
