- Create Study Material
Create the sole study-material record for a subject, optionally with notes or meaning synonyms. WaniKani provides no delete endpoint, so creation cannot be undone through the API.
- Get Assignments
Retrieve one assignment by ID, or list the connected user's assignments using progress, availability, level, subject, and update filters.

Update at least one note or meaning-synonym field on an existing study-material record without changing its subject.
- Update User Preferences
Update one or more supported WaniKani lesson or review preferences. Omitted preferences remain unchanged.
Setup
- Create or open a Switchy Project.
- Open Integrations and connect WaniKani.
- Authorise through api_key. Switchy stores the connection against your org.
- Everyone in the Project can now @-mention the WaniKani tools in chat.
What teammates see: by default, memories from WaniKani are scoped to the Project (PROJECT visibility) - you can mark any memory PRIVATE or share it ORG-wide.
